Belote is a popular trick-taking card game that is played in France and Belgium. It is one of the best-known card games in France, where it is known as Belote française. It is also popular in Belgium, where it is called Belote Wallon. In these countries, it is usually played with 32-card decks. It is also popular in other countries, such as Saudi Arabia, where it is called Bazaar Belote or, in a slightly different way, Belot.

The game is played in rounds, with each round having a different number of players. The first round is usually for beginners, and the last round is for the most experienced players. The game begins with a standard opening sequence, which is then followed by the first trick. Each trick is taken by the highest card of the suit that was opened, with the exception of the card that was opened. The player that takes the trick then leads to the next trick.
